In addition, thanks to its excellent properties and extraordinary versatility, the DELTALL system can be used in numerous applications such as, for example, the transportation of various chemical substances.
The DELTALL pipe is characterised by a 5-layer structure in which head-to-head welded aluminium tape is contained between two layers of crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) and secured to these layers using two layers of adhesive. Thanks to this characteristic, the DELTALL pipe represents the perfect union between the properties of plastic and ductile metal, in which the advantages of the PEX are added to those of the aluminium, creating a product with numerous extraordinary qualities. The PEX gives chemical resistance, resistance to corrosion, lightness, hygiene and guarantees a contact surface with the transported fluid which is very smooth and polished in order to reduce head losses and prevent deposits while the presence of the aluminium allows the pipe to be modelled extremely easily in order to facilitate and speed up installation considerably and prevent the passage of oxygen inside the duct.
To guarantee excellent product quality and reliability, Unidelta subjects the DELTALL pipe to severe, rigorous checks, in accordance with the UNI 10954 regulation. In addition, the production process is constantly monitored using sophisticated sensors and electronic systems.
The DELTALL pipe is also available in an insulated version (DeltAll-Iso): as the pipe is contained inside an insulating sheath, heat dispersion from the fluid transported towards the external environment is minimised. The DeltAll-Iso pipe can be used in two different versions: one specific for hydrothermosanitary applications and another for air-conditioning systems. |
